Our Story
A Legacy of Faith. A Future of Hope.
Remnant Community Fellowship
Celebrating God’s faithfulness and the blessing of a new home
For more than 85 years, our church has been part of the Bullard, Texas, community. Through generations of faithful believers, seasons of growth, and countless prayers, God has sustained our congregation and given us opportunities to share His love and truth.
Today, we are Remnant Community Fellowship — a church family rooted in faith, united in fellowship, and excited about the future God has placed before us.
Our story is one of perseverance, commitment, and the faithfulness of God. We are especially grateful for the generosity that has made it possible for us to establish a new home and continue our ministry in the community we love.
Our Beginnings
A foundation of faith
Our church began in 1938 as an Assemblies of God (AOG) congregation in Teaselville, Texas. In those early days, services were held under a tent before the congregation moved into a modest two-room building.
With faith in God and a desire to reach people with the Gospel, the congregation continued to grow. In 1943, the church moved to Bullard, purchasing the property where Bullard City Hall is now located. The original church building was relocated from Teaselville, establishing our congregation’s lasting presence in the Bullard community.
As the years passed, God continued to bless the work of the church. In 1979, the congregation purchased the building on Rather Street that is now home to Bullard Early Education daycare.
In 1995, another significant milestone was reached when the church purchased land and constructed a new building on Highway 69. Through the faithful giving, hard work, and dedication of our members, the building and property became completely debt-free on February 1, 2010.
These milestones represent far more than buildings and property. They reflect generations of people who prayed, served, gave, worshiped, and invested their lives in the mission of Jesus Christ.
Some of our members have been part of this church family for more than 50 years. Their faithfulness and commitment remain an important part of our heritage and continue to inspire us today.

Faith and Fellowship
A church built on faith and fellowship
Throughout our history, our greatest strength has never been the buildings we occupied. It has been the people who came together to worship God, study His Word, pray for one another, and serve their community.
When our congregation entered a new season in 2024, our members remained committed to preserving the fellowship and continuing the ministry God had established over many decades.
One member graciously opened a shop building on his property for our worship services, while another welcomed us into his home for Wednesday evening Bible study.
For two years, these places became our gathering spaces. We continued to worship, grow in the Scriptures, pray together, and encourage one another in our walk with Christ.
These experiences reminded us of a timeless truth: the church is not simply a building. The church is a family of believers joined together through faith in Jesus Christ.
Our fellowship continued because our faith remained strong, our relationships mattered, and our desire to serve God and our community endured.

A New Home
A new home through your generosity
Bullard has been our home for generations, and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue serving this community.
As Remnant Community Fellowship became an independent congregation, we began seeking a permanent location where we could worship together, grow in God’s Word, and welcome others into our church family.
Finding an affordable property for a small congregation was a significant challenge, but we continued to pray and trust God for direction.
Then came a wonderful blessing! Through your generosity, we have found a home.
What a joy it is to look forward to gathering in a permanent location once again! Your kindness has opened the door for Remnant Community Fellowship to continue its ministry and carry its legacy of faith into a new chapter.
We believe this is about much more than having a place to meet. It is about preserving a church family, strengthening relationships, sharing the Gospel, and creating opportunities for people to encounter the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
Your generosity has made a lasting difference in our lives. You have helped a faithful congregation remain rooted in the Bullard community and given us renewed hope for the years ahead.
Words cannot fully express how grateful we are. We thank God for your kindness, your compassion, and your willingness to invest in the future of our church.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this wonderful new beginning!
Looking Forward
Looking forward with hope
The name Remnant Community Fellowship reflects our commitment to remain faithful to Christ, preserve the fellowship God has given us, and continue sharing the Gospel with our community.
We believe God still has a purpose for our congregation. We look forward to growing together in faith, encouraging families, teaching the truth of Scripture, praying for those in need, and sharing the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Our desire is to be a welcoming church family where people can experience meaningful relationships, spiritual growth, biblical teaching, heartfelt worship, and the transforming presence of the Holy Spirit.
As we begin this new chapter, we do so with grateful hearts and expectant faith. We honor the generations who helped establish this ministry, celebrate those who have faithfully sustained it, and look forward to the lives God will touch through the years to come.
Our history is a testimony of God’s faithfulness. Our fellowship is a gift. And our future is an opportunity to continue His work.
